What's the Point?

What's the point in trying to share my ideals? No one cares. No one likes me for my intelligence, and I'm starting to wonder if people hate me for it. Or maybe I'm just so low on the intellectual totem pole people look down on me. I don't know, but what I do know is that I'm tired of being lonely, but maybe thats how it always will be. I would just like one friend. Is that too much to ask for? If it is, what's the point of going on?

    WOW kyle thats deep. I don't think that you will always be lonely. And i think that you do have friends. If you don't i would love to be your friend. Just talk to me at anytime i don't bite. (jk)

    I agree with Katie. Kyle, you probably have more friends tha you realize. Remember, in order to have friends you need to be a friend. You have many artistic talents and your blog always shows firm conviction for your beliefs. I know I am your teacher but I consider myself someone you can talk to also. Isn't that a friend? Mrs. Johnson cares about you and so does your mom. Let's pick a good team for the next project which is a Newscast. Try to get to know the people on your team. Let me know if you have a preference.

    I agree with Katie and Peggy Sue Brown - You know it's kind of like the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" that sometimes you don't realize how many people care about you and how many friends you have... I congratulate you on the Courage to express yourself in a public forum such as this... it shows a lot of courage! You know that even though I'm your Dad... I am also your friend... and I am only a phone call away. I think when you feel isolated the best thing to do is to get out there amongst people and be yourself.... You are really a great person... I'm proud of you!!!
